MONTERREAL – Tradition


With the purpose of producing an olive oil of excellent quality, Monterreal brand born in 1980 by the Rodríguez de Tembleque brothers in Villa del Río, a small town in the province of Córdoba that dates back to the time of “La Reconquista”. Located in the area with the ​​greatest olive oil tradition in our country, in Villa del Rio we can find many silent witnesses of past cultures such as the Roman Bridge over the Salado River or the illustrious city hall of the town that has its origins in an old Arab fortress.

It should be noted that in the nineteenth century many members of the Spanish nobility were born or had residency in Villa del Rio, and among them the illustrious Count of Monte Real where our best extra virgin olive oil takes its name.
